Having grown up in the English countryside, my work is deeply influenced by nature and our surrounding environment. I create tactile and conceptual textiles that reflect these connections, aiming to evoke a sense of harmony with the natural world.
For my final major project, I have drawn inspiration from four prominent mountain ranges around the world: Snowdonia, the Himalayas, the Atlas Mountains, and the Rocky Mountains. The distinctive landscapes, climates, and topographies of these regions, as well as the cultures of their inhabitants, have profoundly influenced my work.
The ultimate goal of my textile designs is to be featured in luxury retreats within these mountain ranges, providing guests with an opportunity to reconnect with nature and themselves while being immersed in the rich cultural and natural beauty of these majestic environments.
