I use Procreate, Adobe, and traditional materials like paints, pencil, pastel, ink and charcoal to create illustrations for narratives and concept design. I work a lot with storyboarding and character designs, and have strong English writing skills to script.

Narrative Therapy for Phobias

Development work studying the use of gold pen and ink, the shape of loose clothing to show movement and the design of protagonist’s hair
Procreate storyboard sketch using shadow designs to visualise the ‘shadow’ subconscious mind and phobia. Fear of the dark alone is a very common experience for students living on their own.
Character sketch using gold pen and ink. The overall story would feature digitally and include notes for journaling, providing thinking & breath strategies from CBT therapy for overcoming fear. Readers might relate to the character and how she grows.

Additional Work

Below is a collection of experimental work for recent projects such as DECODE (research by Loughborough University to improve healthcare for people with learning disabilities) and personal projects using traditional materials.

Initial storyboard for a video explaining the research under DECODE. It uses a character called Maria and her carer to explain the impact of her diabetes diagnosis and how DECODE could help prevent it.
Quick infographic designs – strategies of using DECODE research with GPs, based on suggestions from industry professionals in focus group observational study.
