Multiples: Expressing forms through different materials and forms.
Within my final major project, I wanted to explore multiples through different materials. My inspiration towards creating models was nature. I found nature to be really peaceful and elegant. Within, my practice I wanted to explore further into the form of a feather.
This model was inspired by a feather but created multiple times changing the scale size. Through my project, I wanted to explore materials and how two surfaces work together. In this image, I used a base of paper and applied a ink surface through wetting the paper. Afterwards, I then waxed the whole feather to create individual components.
Furthermore, I took this my first model and developed it further using new materials. I started by using air dry clay and paper pulp but using the same methods as before.
