I'm a student at Loughborough University on the art foundation course, and I love working with new materials and generating patterns out of very simple shapes.

Habits- The Repetitive Nature of Routine

Experimentation

In many of my pieces, I tried to experiment with different ways of making and generating patterns as much as possible, as well as combining and layering both 2D and 3D structures.

I’ve used a range of different methods, from looking at lino and monoprinting, to bending objects beyond their original functions and combining this with wet medium. I also like to vary with scale- some of my pieces are long repeats stretching 2 metres, others are smaller sample squares.
